Great news for all you Gucci fans including myself, the controversial rapper will be released real soon from jail, according to some sources as early as May 12th, which means he will be leaving the slammer earlier then he was scheduled.Burrrrrrr!!!!

After 8 long years incarcerated at Riker’s Island, Woodbourne and Clinton Correctional Facility rapper Shyne Po is expected to be released from prison today as reported by Hip Hop Dx a few months ago!!! We’ll keep you posted with all the details on this news and hopefully see Shyne back in the streets again!!!

UPDATE:

Shyne’s release is now under review, as representatives for the rapper revealed to MTV News that the Brooklyn MC is being detained by U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement at an unspecified facility in Western New York State. Officials are determining whether or not to deport the rapper, who was born in Belize, a rep explained.
