As a kid I always use to love chilling out with family for the 4th of July. I would go out to the black cat tent with pops and would buy a gang of fireworks to blow up in front of grandmas house. Now the thing i remember most is the fire cracker wrapping paper which is depicted in this new nike sb dunk low “firecracker”. The shoe features custom firework like insoles that reiterate the them plus little details including the words “caution” and “flammable” embroidered on the heel, caution yellow tongue tabs, and red underlays for the final touch. Over 25 years ago people were not really jumping on to the patient leather idea. When the mids came out in the early 2000s kids again didn’t really give them the time a day. Now the patient leather Jordan 1 is highly sought after in all the color ways. Now it returns inspired by the original 1985 release with the high body and black patient leather upper. The white midsole provides a break from the flashy upper , finishing it off with the icy speckled gum sole with gold flake. This air Jordan 1 is set to hit retailers in April.

They are at it again this year. UNDFTED being no stranger working with nike in the past on collaborations has been under the radar for a while. So far all we have is a teaser pic from UNDFTEDS frontman Eddie Cruz, which he posted up via his twitter with little to no information. We will know more of what to expect from the brands on February 8th. Hopefully we will get a street date for the announcement or a couple of product shots. To pay homage to black history ,every year Nike creates a line of designs to celebrate. Every year they seem to be getting more and more creative and diverse with their collection. This year the theme and mantra is “Be Bold. Be True”. In the collection there is a Destroyer jacket, two T-shirts, Nike Elite socks, a 5- pannel hat , and seven shoes including the Nike Lebron x (picture above) that features a grey graphite sihouette w/ orange accents and patterns outside and inside the shoe themed around BHM. Everything form the collection will be available jan 26th.
Lebron himself and others will debut the BHM collection on Jan 21st during various NBA games on Martin Luther King Day. Nike is also going to make a substantial financial contributions to the Big Brothers Big Sisters of America with the sales from the Nike BHM collection. Recently the Nike Air Force 1 celebrated its 30th anniversary last year but this month they are pulling out all the stops with a significant option to the NIKEID materials list. Not only can you customize the elephant print upper but you can also wrap the midsole in the leather elephant print design as well. Provided are a few samples from Nike Harajuku.
